About Me

Hi, I’m Kingsley.

I’m a Cornwall-based photographer and I’ve been behind the camera for around 10 years, photographing weddings, celebrations, events and pretty much anything where people are having a good time! My journey into wedding photography actually started rather simply — I photographed a family member’s wedding, discovered that I enjoyed it – they were happy with the results – and the rest, as they say, is history.

The Other Half of the Team

And then there’s my second shooter — my daughter, Ashley.

When I’m photographing a wedding, having another pair of eyes behind the camera can make a huge difference. Ashley brings her own perspective, her own way of seeing things, and an ability to be in places I simply can’t be at the same time. Together, we can capture more of the day without making it feel like there are photographers everywhere.

There’s something rather special about being able to share that experience with my daughter too. We know each other well, work naturally together and, thankfully, manage not to argue too much! Whether she’s quietly capturing the moments happening away from the main action or helping with the practical side of the day, Ashley is an important part of the team.

I’m quietly professional, organised and, when the occasion calls for it, quite happy to take charge and get everyone where they need to be. But I also think photography is about people, so I don’t want to spend the whole day hiding behind a camera. I’ll chat to you, get to know your guests, have a laugh and generally become part of the background while keeping an eye out for what’s happening around me. My aim is to capture the big moments, the little moments and all the wonderfully random things in between.

For me, the best photographs are the ones that take you straight back to the day. The laughter, the people, the atmosphere, the details you spent so much time organising and the moments you didn’t even know were happening. I try to photograph things as they naturally unfold rather than turning your wedding into a photoshoot. I’m based in Cornwall and primarily work across the South West, but I’m more than happy to travel further for the right wedding or event.
